It's always nice to see what other people are doing to try and help guys with their emotional health issues. There are tons of organizations like HIM out there helping gay guys out in the community, but that's really just the tip of the iceberg these days. Some of the best sources for support are online! The "It Gets Better" campaign which offers hope to bullied LGBT youth is just one example of the emerging trend of video blogging to help guys. Now out of Australia there's the Soften The Fck Up campaign (STFU).
In typical Aussie manner, they've put their hallmark playfulness into it.
STFU is all about getting guys to acknowledge that their health isn't just limited to how much they can bench-press. They want guys to be able to talk about what's stressing them out, so that it doesn't become a problem that consumes them. Take a look as they tackle substance abuse, sexuality, pressures at work, and tons of other subjects!
So SOFTEN THE FCK UP already, it could save your life.
