I had the pleasure of attending the Gay Men’s Health summit this past Monday and Tuesday, a conference sponsored by HIM and The Community Based Research Centre. One of the presenters was Ross Johnstone director of youth education for Out in Schools, which started in 2004 as a pilot project presented by the Out On Screen Film and Video Society. Ross showcased clips from the Anti-Homophobia Student Public Service Announcement competition, which challenged students to create a message promoting tolerance in their schools, and the community in general. Check out some of the PSAs at the Out in Schools website here: http://www.outinschools.com/
