If you have just found out you have HIV or are having difficulty finding a doctor who is familiar with treating HIV infection, please visit the IDC, where HIV/AIDS care services are available.
For appointments, call (604) 806-8060. You do not need a referral to visit the IDC. The clinic is open Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and provides after-hours medical support through an on-call physician.
The clinic also offers rapid, point-of-care HIV testing. The rapid HIV test is free and confidential and available to anyone (not just John Ruedy clinic patients).
The service is offered Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4:00pm. To book an appointment with a nurse call (604) 561-4896.
