Every Body: 8-week Body Image Group

Struggling with body image? Feeling pressure to look different?

Want to develop a better relationship with your body? Then, HIM is here for you!

In Every Body, we will discuss how modern society affects our self-esteem, while offering tools to help you explore your thoughts and feelings about your body. This group will incorporate cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) techniques, group discussions, and resources to support you in your journey towards self-acceptance. This group will promote body positivity, while meeting you where you are at – we don’t expect that everyone will have the same experiences!

This group is ideal for guys/people who are interested in talking and learning about, and doing activities designed to promote changes in thought, behaviour and feelings related to your body.

Please note that space in this group is limited.

When: Thursdays, March 8 – April 26
Time: 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm
Location: HIM Office 310 – 1033 Davie Street (buzzer 310)
