Nathan is a social and behavioural epidemiologist with ten years experience conducting community-based research on sexual health and HIV/AIDS with sexual minority men across Canada and New Zealand. He is currently an Assistant Professor in the School of Public Health and Social Policy at the University of Victoria and was recently named a Michael Smith Foundation for Health Research Scholar. Previously, Nathan completed postdoctoral training in population health at the British Columbia Centre for Excellence in HIV/AIDS on the Momentum Health Study in Vancouver. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Guelph and has volunteered extensively with HIV/AIDS and LGBTQ+ organizations and charities. Nathan volunteers with HIM to ensure all guys in our community have the most up-to-date information and services possible.
