Choose your Piggy at one of our Penny Pigs events, or join our adoption waitlist, and we will contact you when one is available for adoption.
Collect any loose change you and your friends would like to donate to HIM using your Piggy throughout the adoption period (10-12 months)
Attend the special ceremony at the end of the adoption period, empty your Piggy, count the funds, and celebrate with your fellow Piggy Parents!
Small Change, Big Impact!
HIM Penny Pigs is a fun and engaging fundraising initiative by Health Initiative for Men (HIM) that invites community members and supporters to make a difference. Participants adopt custom-designed piggy banks for one year, using them to collect loose change they wish to donate to HIM. They’re encouraged to share the experience with friends and family, spreading the word about this creative way to contribute.
At the end of the adoption period, HIM will host a special celebration where all Piggy Parents come together to empty their banks and count the funds raised. This event not only showcases the collective impact of their contributions but also fosters a sense of community and support for HIM’s important work.

Meet Our Piggies
We worked with some exceptionally talented local artists to create custom-made themes Piggy Banks that reflect some iconic queer personas that we all love and can relate to. Below is a brief description of the three Piggy personas we have come up with, which are available in a variety of colours:
They are always geared up and by their Daddies' side. Devoted and eager to please, and finding special joy in being a good little piggies ready to be filled.
They bask in the attention of strangers. Whether it's a cheeky wink or a playful twirl, they know how to earn tips and keep the crowd roaring with delight!
They have a unique appetite for shiny coins and dollar bills! They love to charm strangers, collecting tips like magical treasures that fuel their vibrant spirit.

Bring Your Piggy to Work Weeks:
Bring Your Piggy to Work Weeks is a fantastic opportunity to engage your coworkers while raising awareness about the diverse communities we serve at HIM. By bringing your custom piggy bank to the office, you create a fun and interactive way for your colleagues to contribute to your fundraising efforts. Together, you can support a great cause and inspire a culture of giving in your workplace!
Show Off Your Piggy Days:
Your Piggy is not just adorable; it’s uniquely yours! Share it on social media to let your friends and family know you’re participating in this fun fundraiser. Not only will you raise awareness for a great cause, but you’ll also spark a little envy with your Piggy’s cuteness! Join the fun and encourage others to get involved!
Happy Piggy Birthday Celebration:
Birthday celebrations are a perfect opportunity to gather support for the causes you care about. Your Piggy can serve as a fun and easy way to collect donations on your special day. Guests can contribute by making cash donations directly into the Piggy or by scanning the QR code at the bottom to make online donations, attributing them to your birthday in the donation form. Celebrate with purpose and make your special day even more meaningful!
Piggy Party Nights:
Do you love hosting parties and social gatherings? Why not turn your next get-together into a fun social benefit for HIM, with your Piggy as the centerpiece! Whether you opt for a playful piggy-themed costume party or a raunchier celebration (wink, wink), your event will be a blast and support a great cause. Gather your friends for a memorable night of fun and giving!
How to Adopt a Penny Pig
Penny Pigs can be adopted at a dedicated Penny Pigs event, or by contacting our team at: [email protected], and our team will facilitate the process if we have a Penny Pig available for adoption. You can also join our wait list and we will contact you when Piggies are available for adoption.
The Adoption Process:
- Select your Piggy (at a Penning Pigs event). If you weren’t able to attend an in-person event, please join the waitlist and we will contact you)
- Complete the Adoption Form
- Pay the adoption fee (a donation)
- Sign your Piggy’s birth certificate
- Be a good Piggy Parent for the following year before returning your Piggy and the donations you were able to gather!
