Colouring In
Are you a queer person of colour? Do you often feel like your experiences are different from those of white queer folks?
Colouring In is an upcoming series of 8 weekly, closed, tailored group for gay, bi, queer men (GBQ men) and gender diverse people-of-colour to come together and share their experiences with peers in a respectful, safer, and non-judgmental environment. This group is created by people-of-colour for people-of-colour and aims to open space to explore how living with a racialized identity shapes our experiences in the world and our mental health. It aims to help us connect, identify the unique stressors that affect us, and learn strategies to cope with them.
This group is intended for BIPOC folks, and it will touch on topics relevant to us like minority stress, radical self-care while doing social justice advocacy, and relationships and communications.
This is a closed in-person group that will start on Oct. 24th. To register, please fill in the form below. Priority will be given to applicants who can commit to attend the full program (8 weeks).
Participation is free, or by donation.
This group is open to self-identified gay, bi, queer men and gender-diverse folks who also identify as part of the black, indigenous, and people of colour (BIPOC) communities.
If you are interested in participating in this group, please fill out the interest form below and we’ll contact you as soon as the group date, time and location details are confirmed:
