Every Body

Do you often find yourself judging your body or feeling inadequate/unattractive? Develop a healthier relationship with your body with HIM.

Every Body is an 8-week, closed group designed for and by gay, bi, queer men (GBQ men) and gender-diverse folks to discuss how different forces around us affect our self-esteem; and learn tools to explore and change our thoughts and feelings about our bodies. This group will incorporate cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) strategies, group discussions, and resources to support us in building self-acceptance.

This group will touch on topics such as mindfulness, eating and exercising, media vs real life, interpersonal interactions, self-care, sex, and confidence building.

This is a closed in-person group that will start on February 1st. To register, please fill in the form below. Priority will be given to applicants who can commit to attend the full program (8 weeks).

Participation is free, or by donation.

This group is open to self-identified gay, bi, queer men and gender-diverse folks.

For more information, please email: counselling@checkhimout.ca

This group is open to self-identified men (trans, cis, and other men), two-spirit and non-binary folks who also identify as gay, bi, queer, asexual, and/or as guys who are into/or have sex with guys (for any reason – including for work).
