Meth & Sex

HIM will be hosting an 8-week group to support guys who want to stop using meth and stay meth-free (abstinence-based). This specialist-facilitated mental health group will offer resources and guided group discussions among peers in a supportive and non-judgmental space. This is a closed group with a maximum of 8 participants. Intakes will be done in August. For more information or if you like to register, please e-mail register@checkhimout.ca

Transform Your Life Into One of Your Own Unleash Happiness is a closed 7-week workshop built on a foundation of inclusiveness and compassion. It focuses on supporting 55+ gay men in finding happiness, fulfillment, and purpose by re-discovering themselves. The Unleash Happiness workshop is developed specifically for the Health Initiative for Men (HIM) by Edmond T. Cheng of Muse Life Guide. Visit muselifeguide.com to learn more. Every Body in New West

HIM is bringing its body image group, Every Body, to New Westminster this month!
Every Body is a group for any gay, bi, queer, 2-S and other guys who have sex with guys who may be struggling with body image, or feeling pressure to look different; and who want to develop a better relationship with their body.

This 8-week group will provide a space to discuss how modern society affects our self-esteem, while offering tools to help you to explore your thoughts and feelings about your body.
