Support HIM this Pride Season!
Give HIM a hand and become a monthly donor today
HIM was founded in 2009 by a group of gay men as a grassroots initiative to fight against inequalities in the healthcare system and advocate for the health needs of the gay, bi and queer men and gender diverse people. Since then, HIM has been on the forefront of developing, supporting and promoting programs that strengthen the health and wellbeing of our communities.
By giving $10/month you’ll be contributing to the collective health and wellbeing of our communities across BC!
The impact of your gift:
With your contribution we’ll be able to provide our communities access to more equitable and community-informed health-based programs and services:
- Supporting more than 8,000 gender diverse, gay, bi, and queer folks get access to HIV and STI testing and treatment every year
- Building the capacity of hundreds of mental health service providers across the province to work better with gay, bi and queer folks
- Making healthcare better for sex workers, and decrease the stigma associated with sex work
- Providing physical and social health programing for over 3,000 GBT2Q folks every year
With no more than the price of a double-pump hot chocolate drink, you can feel good about the impact you’re making in your community every month!
We thank our hand-givers and hand-receivers for sharing their stories with us:
