HIM is a non-profit organization founded and run by gay, bi, and queer men and gender diverse people. Our mission is to strengthen the health and wellbeing of many communities including newcomers to Canada who are GBQ men and gender diverse and now live in BC. HIM offers wide-ranging services, programs and resources to newcomers.
HIM does not require identification or proof of residency in Canada for most of our services, and almost all of HIM services are provided for free.

Harm Reduction
“Harm reduction” refers to a wide range of practices, programs, and public policies that reduce harms associated with substance use and substance use stigma, which includes supervised consumption sites, housing-first policies, drug checking, needle exchange, decolonization, and so on.
