Our mission is to strengthen the health and wellbeing of many communities including the GBQ and gender diverse communities of colour across BC. HIM offers wide-ranging services, programs and resources to people of colour:

“Harm reduction” refers to a wide range of practices, programs, and public policies that reduce harms associated with substance use and substance use stigma, which includes supervised consumption sites, housing-first policies, drug checking, needle exchange, decolonization, and so on.
