HUSTLE

HUSTLE (How U Survive this Life Everyday) is an education and advocacy program, designed and implemented by experiential folks (e.g.: current/former sex workers) for self-identified men, nonbinary, and two-spirit people working in the sex industry.

Who We Are

HUSTLE was founded in 2007 and since then, we have continued to represent the male voice in sex work at various tables, committees and research partnerships. In 2009, HUSTLE joined Health Initiative for Men and has continued to expand and uphold our mission and vision. HUSTLE provides advocacy, education, and information to individuals, organizations and communities to promote safety, increase access to quality care, and support informed decision making about your health and wellness. HIM and HUSTLE believes in our community’s right to access harm reduction and non-judgemental physical, sexual and mental health care.

What We Do

  • Educational workshops for service providers and community members to destigmatize male sex work
  • Distribution of harm reduction kits to HIM’s Health Centres
  • Bad Date and Aggressor Reporting for male sex workers
