Our mission is to strengthen the health and wellbeing of many communities including people who use drugs and other substances. HIM offers wide-ranging services, programs and resources to people who use drugs:

Harm Reduction

Gay, bi, queer men, and gender diverse people who use drugs have unique health needs. At HIM, we offer harm reduction-based programming for substance users and free harm reduction supplies (including supplies for hormone injection). Click here to learn more about our substance use supports. 

Sexual Health Services

From STI/HIV testing and treatment, vaccinations, access to PrEP and PEP, to access to harm reduction supplies and services, HIM is here to support your sexual health. Click here find out more about the sexual health services that HIM offers.

Mental Health Supports

At HIM we want to make it easy and accessible for all gay, bi, and queer men, and gender diverse people to explore the mental, emotional, cultural, social and spiritual aspects of their lives. HIM honours the xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), and səlil̓ilw̓ətaʔɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations, and the territories of many nations on the west coast of Turtle Island, on whose unceded and stolen land we live and work.
