HIM Programs and Services

What We Offer

Since HIM was founded as grassroots organization for HIV prevention in 2009, we have expanded our scope of work to include a wide range of health-based programs and services to help strengthen the health and wellbeing of GBQ men and gender diverse people. These programs and services promote a more wholistic approach to HIV prevention which takes into account people social, physical, mental as well as sexual health.

From routine HIV/STI testing and treatment, PrEP services, to vaccinations. HIM provides us with essential health services for our sexual health.

Sexual Health and HIV Prevention Services

Through HIM counselling program and mental support groups, we'll have access to informed counsellors and peers who can support our mental health.

Mental Health Supports

Our peer-led sex work supports will help connect us with services and resources, and help promote our wellbeing.

Sex Work Supports

HIM provides peer-led programs and services to support safer use and safer sex supplies as well as programs to support those who actively use substances.

Harm Reduction Programs

Every year HIM organizes, hosts, and promotes community-led groups where we can meet lcommunity members and continue to improve our mental, social, physical, and sexual health.

Community Groups

HIM collaborates with peer organizations and health agencies to develop useful resources to help raise awareness about matters that affect our health.
