HIM health centres in the Lower Mainland as well as our outreach nurses and anonymous testing events in the BC Interior provide GBQ men and gender diverse people with HIV/STI prevention and treatment services.
At HIM we want to make it easy and accessible for GBQ men and gender diverse people to explore the mental, emotional, cultural, social and spiritual aspects of their lives.
Our support programs for GBQ men and gender diverse people in the sex industry who live and/or work in the Lower Mainland or on Vancouver Island.
HIM works with partners and health providers to develop and deliver harm reduction programs to the communities we serve.
From social discussions, to life drawing, to yoga. HIM community groups are an opportunity for you to connect with others in the community who share you passions and interested.
HIM offers a variety of programs that put knowledge and resources in the hands of community leaders.
Guided by our values in evidence-based approach to health and GBQ men and gender diverse people ability to make informed decisions, HIM works collaboratively with peer organizations and healthcare providers to develop resources that translate scientific research into information and tools that can inform and empower the communities we serve.
