In partnership with public health, researchers, policymakers, and our communities, we mobilize the evidence, tools, and leadership necessary to ensure GBT2Q men (in Kelowna, Kamloops, Penticton, Vernon, Cranbrook, Nelson and beyond) have access to equitable and culturally competent care.

HIM Programs and Services in BC North

Since 2019, HIM has been working in the Northern Health region, out of Prince George, to provide the GBT2Q community with improved accessibility and uptake of health services.

HIM Programs and Services on Vancouver Island

In partnership with public health authorities, researchers, policymakers, and our communities, we mobilize the evidence, tools, and leadership necessary to ensure GBT2Q men (in Victoria, the Westshore Communities, Duncan, Nanaimo, Port Alberni, Courtenay/Comox, Campbell River and communities in between) have access to equitable and culturally competent care.

HIM honours the xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), and səlil̓ilw̓ətaʔɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations, and the territories of many nations on the west coast of Turtle Island, on whose unceded and stolen land we live and work. As uninvited inhabitants, we acknowledge that this space is and always will be Indigenous land.
