Want to help improve queer men’s health, end the blood ban, and earn $10?
Health Initiative for Men (HIM), in partnership with the Community Based Research Centre for Gay Men’s Health (CBRC), is delivering the SexNow Survey 2018 – Canada’s largest and longest-running queer men’s health survey. This national survey asks you questions about your everyday life, including sex life, mental health, substance use, and more. This data is turned into policy and programming by HIM and partner organizations to help improve health outcomes for queer men.
This year, we’ve got our eyes set on ending the blood ban! Under current Canadian Blood Services policy, queer men need to have been celibate for ten years before being eligible to donate blood: an outdated, unnecessary, and exclusionary policy. Learn more about the blood ban here.
