HRT Injection Workshop (IM and sub-q)

Feeling uncomfortable or nervous about your weekly injections? Come join our in-person or virtual workshop on HRT injections led a nurse educator who will discuss how to do your shot safely and effectively, the differences between intramuscular (IM) and subcutaneous (sub-q) injections, and tips on overcoming needlephobia.

Needles and other supplies will be available for you to practice on oranges. You can also bring your injectable hormones to the workshop if you’d like to be supervised while you practice on yourself, but this is not required. This workshop is intended for anyone new to HRT, anyone who wants a refresher lesson on how to inject, and friends, partners, and other loved ones who help you with your shots.
