As of March 2022, HIM’s community programs continue to be responsive to community needs and are currently being delivered via online, in-person, and hybrid formats. Taking valuable lessons learned over the last Two years about access and safety, combined with community feedback, groups are a blend of pre-registered drop-ins, discussion groups you can attend virtually from home, or a blend of both models featured in key programs to allow us to meet people where they are at and ensure positive health outcomes.

| June 1st, 2020 | HIM begins engaging in street-based outreach to maintain connection with community |
| June 16th, 2020 | HIM partners to provide outdoor space for community gardens for those who are dealing with covid stress |
| July 27th, 2020 | HIM delivers a unique online “Pride Week with HIM” festival to hold active space for expression and celebration |
| August 13th, 2020 | HIM begins to move to a “Hybrid” delivery (both online and in-person) of key programs, following recommended health guidelines |
| November 17th, 2020 | HIM launches a mental health wellness series to teach methods of maintaining positive health and mood to address covid stress |
| February 17th, 2021 | HIM launches a specialty series aimed at supporting Indigenous and Two Spirit people in response to covid stress |
| June 30th, 2021 | Provincial State of Emergency in BC ends and HIM begins consulting with community to identify next steps in program delivery |
| August 1st, 2021 | HIM begins delivering more community programs in-person and begin attending partner events in-person |
| March 11th, 2022 | Two years from a National Emergency being announced in Canada, mask mandates end – HIM continues to deliver both in-person and online programs |
